September 23rd, 2019 – On Tuesday, September 24th the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) will be preparing construction materials along the right of way (ROW), from 5th Avenue to Brentwood Road, between the hours of 9:00 am and 5:00 pm. Expect temporary grade crossing closures at 5th Avenue, 2nd Avenue, 4th Avenue and Brentwood Road.

Closures will not be extended but may be closed simultaneously to facilitate a long work train moving slowly.
