December 4th, 2019 – The Town of Islip is currently accepting nominations for the 2020 celebration of Black History. The Town of Islip will celebrate Black History in February by honoring individuals who have made significant contributions to the Islip community, and live or work in the Town of Islip. The celebration will take place at the February Town Board Meeting.
To nominate a community member, you must submit a nomination form by the Wednesday, January 22, 2020 deadline.

Honorees will be selected based on their accomplishments and contributions to the Town of Islip Community.
