First Half Property Taxes Due on or before January 10, 2020

December 9th, 2019 – Islip Town Receiver of Taxes, Alexis Weik, has announced that her office, located at 40 Nassau Avenue, Islip, is accepting payment of 2019/2020 taxes. The office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with the following exceptions:

On December 31st the office will be open from 8:30 a.m. to 12 noon and will be closed on December 24th, December 25th and January 1st.

“One evening in January has been set aside for those residents who are unable to pay in person during our regular 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. business hours”, said Alexis Weik, Islip Town Receiver of Taxes. “On Friday, January 10th, the office will remain open until 7:00 p.m.,” she added.

Residents can save time by visiting the Town of Islip website www.islipny.gov and pay their taxes online or by mailing their tax payments. However, to avoid penalty, all payments must be postmarked BY THE POST OFFICE no later than January 10, 2020.
