January 15th, 2020 – The Long Island Railroad has informed that their Signal department will have the Windsor Avenue rail road crossing in Brightwaters closed tomorrow Thursday, January 16th from 6:00am - 6:00pm. The crossing will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic while rehabilitation work is being performed. Please plan accordingly as an alternate route must be used. MTA Police will be on site to assist with the closure.

Rehabilitation work has also been scheduled at 2nd Avenue in Bay Shore for Thursday, January 23rd for the hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm. The crossing will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic while the work is being performed. Please plan accordingly as an alternate route must be used. MTA Police will be on site.
