January 22nd, 2020 – The Long Island Railroad has informed that their Signal department has scheduled rehabilitation work at 2nd Avenue in Bay Shore for tomorrow, Thursday, January 23rd between the hours of 6:00am - 6:00pm. The crossing will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic while the work is being performed. Please plan accordingly as an alternate route must be used. MTA Police will be on site.

Additionally, rehabilitation work has been scheduled at McConnell Ave. in Bayport for Thursday, January 30th for the hours of 6:00 am - 6:00 pm. The crossing will be closed to all vehicular and pedestrian traffic while the work is being performed. Please plan accordingly as an alternate route must be used . MTAPD will be on site to assist with the closure
