March 9th, 2020 – In light of recent events involving the spread of COVID-19, Federal Health Officials have recommended that the public should avoid large group settings. We have received many inquiries regarding whether the Tuesday, March 10th Town Board meeting will take place. It is out of an abundance of caution, that Town of Islip officials have postponed the Women’s History Celebration previously scheduled for the Tuesday, March 10th, Town Board meeting, and will reschedule that celebration for a later date.
With that in mind, we are informing residents that this Town Board meeting will be LIVE STREAMED below. A recording of the meeting will also be made available on the Town of Islip YouTube Channel, and can be viewed on the upcoming Altice Channel 18 or on Verizon Channel 1982 programming schedule. Please join us in doing your part to prevent community spread of COVID-19.
