June 12th, 2020 – The Town of Islip Department of Public Safety Enforcement has announced that beginning June 15th, and continuing through July 21st, 2020, vehicle owners with outstanding parking summons may be eligible for a fifty-percent (50%) reduction to the summons amount, as part of Islip Town's Parking Amnesty program.
The program applies to vehicle owners who have outstanding parking summonses that were issued prior to April 20, 2020 and are returnable to the Town of Islip Traffic and Parking Violations Bureau. A payment of fifty-percent (50%) of the amount outstanding will be accepted by the Town as full payment for these issuances.
Those who have already pled not-guilty to parking summonses and are awaiting a hearing date, may change their pleas to guilty and take advantage of the fifty-percent (50%) reduction.
Fees can be paid online at www.parkingticketassist.com/islip, or by mail, with a check or money order payable to the Town of Islip Traffic and Parking Violations Bureau.
