January 26th, 2021 – North Atlantic Industries, Inc. (NAI), a leading supplier of embedded computing solutions and power supplies, announced an expansion of its presence in the Town of Islip with a new facility and global headquarters. According to NAI representatives, a partnership with the Islip Industrial Development Agency and Empire State Development has enabled NAI to double down on its commitment to growth in the region.
Preparation is now underway to relocate to the 90,000 sq. ft. Bohemia facility, with plans to occupy the space by June 2021. The recently acquired facility results in an 80% increase in the company’s physical presence in New York State. The additional space enables the expansion of NAI's engineering, production, test and quality and assembly and manufacturing operations. It will also permit these functions to be housed under one roof, with sales and marketing, HR, IT and the leadership team.
