June 9th, 2021 – The East Islip Chamber of Commerce unveiled a new community sign recently. Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilman Jim O'Connor, East Islip Chamber President, Gary Teich and East Islip Chamber board members were on hand for the ribbon-cutting which unveiled the new sign welcoming residents into the hamlet of East Islip.
“Our chambers are full of active members and dedicated leaders, who do an incredible job promoting businesses, organizations and community events throughout the Town,” said Supervisor Angie Carpenter. “The East Islip Chamber and it’s board members are a shining example of the sense of community that exist throughout our town,” added Supervisor Carpenter.
