June 17th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter recently recognized Bradley Zieman from Boy Scouts of America Troop 438 on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Bradley completed the required 21 merit badges and a major service project in order to earn this honor. Eagle Scout is the highest rank a Boy Scout can achieve after earning the previous rankings of Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star and Life. Only a small fraction of boys who join the Boy Scouts earn this high honor in their tenure.
“On behalf of the entire Islip Town Board, we congratulate you on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout, and we wish you continued success in all of your future endeavors,” said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
