July 28th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter met with passengers onboard the Lauren Kristy Dinner Cruise before they set sail for a night on the Great South Bay. The itinerary includes a visit to the Town of Islip’s Atlantique Beach, and features a buffet dinner, dancing and panoramic sunset views over the bay. The Lauren Kristy is a turn-of-the-century river boat that sails during the summer, departing from the Bay Shore Marina.
“After a yearlong hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are especially grateful to bring residents together again for a memorable night on the water. There is something so special about spending time with family and friends while taking in a beautiful sunset,” said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
The Lauren Kristy Dinner Cruise is presented by the Town of Islip’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs. The next dinner cruise will be held August 10th. For more information click here.
