August 12th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter recently attended the 27th Annual Clam Shucking Contest at Nicky’s on the Bay in Bay Shore, an event sponsored by the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition and their partner, Good Samaritan Hospital. The event included raffles and prizes donated by local businesses, a corn husking contest and face painting for kids. All proceeds benefited the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition.
“Breast cancer awareness and prevention is an important cause that affects men and women alike. We are grateful to Nicky’s on the Bay for hosting this fun-filled event, and to Good Samaritan Hospital for their partnership,” she added
