September 28th, 2021 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended the unveiling of a new memorial at the Islip Town Fire & EMS Museum in Central Islip, honoring 20 fallen first responders who lost their lives in the line of duty. Fire Departments and Emergency Services from throughout Islip Town were in attendance.
“Thank you to the generosity of the community who helped fund this memorial through their donations to the museum. Families, friends and fellow first responders now have a place to honor the brave men who lost their lives protecting their communities,” said Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
