Town of Islip employees wore red to work Friday, February 4th National Wear Red Day, in order to raise awareness of cardiac health. According to the CDC, taking care of your heart can be as simple as the ABCS. Talk to your health care team about Aspirin, Blood pressure control, Cholesterol management, and Smoking cessation.
“Heart Health Month is a reminder to us all, just how important it is to take care of ourselves. I’m encouraging everyone, as we kick-off 2022, to speak with their physician about steps they can take to live a healthy lifestyle, ” said Islip Supervisor, Angie Carpenter.
