March 9th, 2022 – Breeze Airways today announced one-time service to Louisville, Kentucky from Long Island MacArthur Airport for the Kentucky Derby.

Horseracing enthusiasts can board a flight from Islip Thursday, May 5 returning Sunday, May 8th to catch the 148th running of the Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs. The race is set for Saturday, May 7th.

The Kentucky Derby is one of the most well- known Grade 1 Thoroughbred stakes races in the world. First run in 1875, this 1 1/4-mile (10 furlongs) race kicks-off the American Triple Crown of horse racing.
