May 5th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and the Islip Town Board would like to thank the residents in the Town for the outpouring of generous donations made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church Ukraine Donation Drive.

Due to the overwhelming number of donations, Town officials have been informed by church representatives that the Drive is currently paused, and will not be accepting itemized donations at this time. Monetary donations are still being accepted, and can be sent directly to Sts. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church.

“We are so grateful to our Town of Islip residents, who have given so generously to the Ukrainian people. They are experiencing inconceivable conditions, and these donations have provided critical first aid,” said Supervisor Carpenter.
