April 9th, 2019 – Islip Town Councilman John Cochrane joined Tim Mare, Director, Town of Islip Youth Bureau and members of the West Islip Girl Scouts, for the “Hop to Action for Easter” basket making event at the Manetuck Elementary School in West Islip. The colorful baskets will be donated to the Victims Information Bureau of Suffolk County (VIBS).
The Girl Scouts also assisted with the collection of jeans for the Youth Bureau’s Teens for Jeans campaign. The new and gently used jeans will be donated to local homeless shelters.
