May 24th, 2022 – Islip High School students and teachers recently collected new and gently used prom dresses and formalwear, and donated the merchandise to the Town of Islip Youth Bureau, just in time for the 2022 prom season.

A total of 175 dresses, 10 suits and an array of accessories and shoes were donated by school faculty, students and residents within the community, and donated to the Town of Islip Youth Bureau, which offers FREE formal attire to any student looking for an evening gown, suit or prom dress.

Students looking for prom attire can schedule an appointment with the Youth Bureau at (631) 224-5320. All suits, dresses and accessories at the Youth Bureau’s Prom Boutique are FREE. The Youth Bureau is located at Town Hall West, 401 Main St., Islip.
