June 8th, 2022 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined thousands of exuberant onlookers recently at the Annual Puerto Rican Hispanic Parade, presented by Teatro Yerbabruja. Fifth Ave. in Brentwood came alive with LIVE music, dancing and the vibrant colors of flags representing Puerto Rico and other Hispanic countries, as residents enjoyed the return of the parade after a two-year COVID hiatus.
“Our Town is enriched by the culturally diverse people and communities who share their traditions, pride and heritage. Today is a day for celebrating,” said Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
