February 9th, 2023 – AT&T donated a check for $50K to Catholic Health’s Food Insecurity Program recently. The event took place at the Town’s Caesar Trunzo Senior Center in Brentwood, NY. Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter was joined by Dr. Patrick O’Shaughnessy, President and CEO, Catholic Health; John McMurray, CEO and Senior Vice President, Good Samaritan University Hospital and representatives from AT&T at the event.
Part of the funds will also be used to purchase non-perishable items on behalf of those deemed food insecure, and distributed during the Town of Islip/Good Samaritan University Hospital Nutrition Lecture Series.
