May 3rd, 2023 – The Bay Area Friends of the Fine Arts, Inc, BAFFA, this year celebrates its 55th year of presenting music, art and cultural events.

BAFFA conducted its High School Juried Art Show at the newly renovated Town of Islip Gillette House in Sayville recently. Students from 12 Long Island High Schools were recognized for their outstanding talent during an awards ceremony.

Medford resident and Bellport High School student, Nikki Hirschkind, was one of this year's BAFFA scholarship winners.
