June 8th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined members of American Legion Rusy Bohm Post 411, to honor 21 high school seniors from around the Town who will join the Armed Forces upon graduation.

“The patriotism that each of you has exhibited by dedicating yourselves to the protection and service of our great Nation speaks to your profound character. We are honored to recognize your selflessness and devotion, and do so with great admiration and pride,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. The students will join the Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines.
