Islip Goes Purple is a month-long initiative designed to unite The Town of Islip in raising awareness of mental health, substance use disorder, as well as celebrating those in recovery.
In memory of the lives lost, and in solidarity with those in recovery, Town Hall, along with merchants and businesses throughout our Town, will be illuminated in purple.
Signage, ribbons and flags will adorn Islip streets, trees and lamp posts, and the Islip Town Hall cupola will shine purple throughout September.
