August 24th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter recently accepted donations on behalf of the Town of Islip Youth Bureau’s School Supply Drive, from the generous members of the Marine Corps League of Bay Shore.

The ever-popular drive has proven essential to local families, who rely upon the kindness of community groups and residents to assist in reducing the expense of readying their children for the school year.

"We are grateful to our residents and organizations, whose continued generosity enables children to put their best foot forward and reach their fullest potential, with the necessary tools and confidence to start a new year of learning," said Islip Town Supervisor, Angie Carpenter.
