June 20th,2019 – NYPD Retired Transit Chief Joseph Fox continued his leadership training Wednesday with members of the Town of Islip Public Safety Division. Fox focused on 10 objectives from team building, motivation, listening and communication to different leadership styles.

"This is Joe Fox's second visit with Public Safety and his third visit with the Town. At each seminar, he brings with him a new set of skills that our employees can utilize whether interacting with the general public or one another," said Supervisor Angie Carpenter.

"Joe’s a wealth of information. It’s nice to get a perspective from someone with his credentials on how to manage certain situations and personalities," said Robert Valletti, Secretary to the Commissioner of Public Safety.
