December 8th, 2023 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter was joined by Rabbi Shimon Stillerman, Chabad of Islip; Pastor Michael Staneck, Trinity Lutheran Church; members of the Islip Town Board and town officials, to light the Hanukkah Menorah on the first night of Hanukkah. The menorah shines brightly in front of Islip Town Hall on Main St.
