September 14th, 2024 – A ribbon cutting ceremony marked the dedication of the Exchange Ambulance of the Islip's new building at 100 Carleton Ave. in East Islip in memory of Ex-Chief Gregory A. DeCanio.

Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Suffolk County Executive Ed Romaine and local elected officials joined with the family of Ex-Chief DeCanio for the plaque dedication ceremony and Open House.
