March 6th, 2019 – Town Councilman John C. Cochrane, Jr. joined Town Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen in East Islip recently for the annual St. Patrick’s Day parade.
All came dressed to impress in their finest green garb, as residents lined the streets to see local civic groups and organizations march down Main Street. Special recognition was given to James O’Kane, a retired NYPD Officer, named the 2019 East Islip St. Patrick’s Day Parade Grand Marshal, and to Claire Melecca, devoted community volunteer, named Ladies’ Aide to the Grand Marshal.
