September 10th, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter congratulated Lynn Luttenberger and the entire board of the West Islip Historical Society on the ribbon cutting of their new home at the former LaGrange Inn.

LaGrange Inn host and owner Uwe Paulsen and his wife, along with many notable elected officials attended the ribbon cutting which took place on the porch of the historic property.

"This building, which dates back to 1750, is a treasure in the community, and an appropriate new home for the West Islip Historical Society," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. " We wish the society many productive years here," added the Supervisor.
