September 16th, 2019– The Town of Islip conducted its FREE Senior Health Fair Monday at the Caesar Trunzo Senior Center in Brentwood.

Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended and received a Flu shot. "I encourage everyone to get a Flu shot. It takes only a few minutes, and is an excellent way to ensure good health for yourself and for your loved ones, throughout flu season," added Supervisor Carpenter.

Photo ID cards for emergencies, free Flu shots donated by Northwell Health, light refreshments and much more were offered to all who attended. Transportation was provided to the Fair from various senior centers. The event was made possible by the Town of Islip Office of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs.
