October 9th, 2019 – Town Councilman, John C. Cochrane, Jr. recently joined in recognizing the many heroes in our community, at both the annual Bay Shore Fire Department “Thank You” BBQ, as well as the East Islip Fair. Meeting with Community Ambulance member Gene DeMott, and Robert Huse of the Bay Shore Fire Department, Councilman Cochrane gave his appreciation for all the emergency service men and women who continue to keep our residents safe year round.
The Councilman, a retired USN Captain, also shared support for the community at the East Islip Fair, meeting with American Legion 4S Post Commander, veteran Frank Frumento.
“Our community is very fortunate to have so many extraordinary individuals whose daily services continue to better our community and the livelihoods of those within.” said Councilman Cochrane. “The Town of Islip thanks them all.” he added.
