October 17th, 2019 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter and members of the Town Board invited all employees to wear pink recently to shine a spotlight on breast cancer research. A $5 donation enabled employees to also wear jeans to work for the day.
"This is one example of the many causes our caring and giving Town employees support," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
Monies raised benefit the Islip, West Islip and Brentwood/Bay Shore Breast Cancer Coalitions.
