December 12th, 2019 – Town of Islip employees gave generously, as they do each year, to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program. Employees selected their "angels" and purchased gifts according to each child's wish list.
Trucks, trains, clothes, dolls and more were collected for 60 children, and staged in the Supervisor's office until pick up by the Salvation Army.
"Our employees go above and beyond each Christmas, giving so generously to the Salvation Army Angel Tree program," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. "It truly defines the spirit of giving," she added.
