January 6th, 2020 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter, Councilman John Cochrane, Councilwoman Mary Kate Mullen, Receiver of Taxes Alexis Weik and Town Clerk Olga Murray took their oaths of office at a swearing-in ceremony at Touro Law Center recently.

Congressman Peter King emceed the ceremony, paying tribute to the Supervisor and the Town Board for their stewardship. NYS Comptroller Tom DiNapoli and Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone praised the Supervisor for her bipartisan track record of accomplishment across the town and across the political aisle.
