January 29th, 2020 – Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter's office was overjoyed to receive letters from the Salvation Army and Outreach recently, regarding our Town's continued involvement in the Angel Tree and holiday basket collection programs.
Accompanied by the hand written words of those whose holidays have been directly touched by the kindness and generosity of our Town, the letters expressed gratitude to the Town departments, employees and all who have contributed during the holiday season, for helping to make the holidays special for children and families in need.
This year, the Town collected 893 holiday baskets for Thanksgiving, 822 Turkeys, and provided presents to over 1,100 children. See the kind words and warm sentiments via the images below:
