February 11th, 2020 – Town of Islip Department of Public Works crews were out in the early morning hours Tuesday, addressing flooding at Grant Ave. and Moffitt Blvd. in Islip.

"Our pump trucks remove 700 gallons of water per minute, and our crews are prepared for any weather eventuality," said DPW Commissioner Tom Owens. Crews also addressed flooding on Shore Drive in Oakdale and Garretson Ave. and Cullen Ave. in Islip.
