February 12th, 2020 – The Islip Town Board celebrated the Brentwood Boys Varsity Soccer team on their NYS Title this year. The team won the New York State Championship defeating Fairport 4-0 in the State finals. This is Brentwood’s 4th State Soccer Title!
The team ended the season with a 22-0 record, and was ranked Top Boys Public School team in the nation by FAB 50, USA Today and United Soccer Coaches Polls for the second time. The Team ended the season in the Top 20 National Ranking for the 8th time!!!
"This type of accomplishment takes tremendous hard work, commitment, dedication and practice. Congratulations to the team and to Coach Ron Eden. We are so very proud of each and every one of you," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter. Joining the celebration was Brentwood School District Superintendent Richard Loeschner.
