April 14th, 2020 – The Town of Islip Senior Citizen Services division is delivering more than 4,600 meals weekly to seniors in need. In addition to the Town servicing its regular home delivered meal clients, more than 400 other senior citizens have qualified for weekly delivery based on need.
The Town's DPW department provided shelter for drivers to pack out their vehicles during Monday's storm. “This is another example of the compelling team effort here in our Town. Departments and staff are rising to the occasion, ensuring that our residents’ needs are met during this pandemic,” said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter..
