May 26th, 2020 – Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter attended several Memorial Day remembrance ceremonies throughout the Town Monday.
“Memorial Day 2020 was far different from how it’s been commemorated in the Town of Islip in years past...but so many stopped to remember and pay respect to those brave men and women who lost their lives for our country...for our freedoms. God bless them all,” said Supervisor Carpenter.
Remembrances were held by local VFW, American Legions and AMVETS.
