July 9th, 2020 – Warm, sunny weather and just the right amount of rainfall has created a bounty of produce at organic farms in the Town of Islip.

Joe DiMeo, Islip, examines produce at Thera Farms Farm Stand. Alex Saravia of Brentwood displays eggplant, yellow squash and lettuces. Thera Farms is located on Brentwood Rd., Brentwood.

Antonio Bellia, owner of The Natural Way Organic Medicinal Herbs, tends to the Elecampane plants (sunflower family), on his lot of land in the Sisters of St. Joseph Complex, Brentwood.

"Farmer Mike" owner, Organics Today Farm, and Morgan Shurgin, pick Tuscan Kale and other produce. Organics Today is located on Washington St. in East Islip.
