July 9th, 2020 – Long Island MacArthur Airport officials welcomed face masks and hand sanitizer from the FAA and New York State Governor Andrew Cuomo's office this week.
The complimentary PPE will be given to travelers at the Ronkonkoma based airport. The face coverings were given to the airport by the FAA, and the hand sanitizer was donated by the Governor's office Wednesday.
"Long Island MacArthur Airport thanks NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo and the Federal Aviation Administration, for donating hand sanitizers and face coverings to travelers," said Long Island MacArthur Airport Aviation Commissioner, Shelley LaRose-Arken.
