November 12th, 2020 – Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter joined with servicemen and women and Veterans organizations in the Town on Veterans Day, to honor all who have served our country. The Islip Chamber of Commerce paid tribute by donating a check to the Rusy Bohm American Legion Post 411 in the amount of $500 to the Hometown Heroes Banner program.
"A heartfelt thank you to all those who served our county. God bless our veterans and God bless America," said Islip Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
