Town Hall Annex Project Public Notice
Construction Begins Monday, March 10th
The Town of Islip is excited to announce that construction of the Town Hall Annex will begin next week. This project will address ADA accessibility needs for our residents while adding needed space to our nearly 100-year-old Town Hall, funded by Federal ARPA funds.
Important Information for Residents:
- Nassau Avenue Changes: Closure begins Monday, March 10th at 7AM, reopening at 7PM with a new two-way traffic pattern.
- Main Entrance Closure: On Wednesday and Thursday (March 12th-13th), the Main entrance will be closed for construction of a temporary ADA ramp. Please use the East/West side employee entrances during this time.
- Parking Changes: Starting Friday, March 14th, construction fencing will be installed, changing access to the municipal parking lot. ADA parking spaces will be relocated with a new connecting path.
