The Town of Islip is proud to recognize Black History during the month of February, and throughout the year. Islip Town celebrates the diverse cultures and heritages of its residents, and Black History Month represents the opportunity for all within the Town of Islip to acknowledge the many contributions of its neighbors, volunteers and professionals, who help to enrich our Town with diversity.
""While COVID-19 has placed limitations on the reality of hosting in-person celebrations here at Town Hall, our Town is honored, as ever, to share in the importance of Black History Month, and we encourage each person to pay tribute to the accomplishments of our diverse friends, neighbors and community year-round," said Islip Town Supervisor Angie Carpenter.
